Outdoor Brick Fireplace extravaganza December 8, 2009
When I celebrated my 34th Birthday I knew that I wanted to do something special. I had just bought my dream home and wanted to christen it with a birthday bash initially, but with the advice of my wife she convinced me that the best way to honor our home and my birthday is to come up with an addition to the house in time for the big 3-4.
I had always wanted an outdoor brick fireplace to begin with so I figured it would be a nice birthday present. I immediately got started on the project by getting in touch with a local contactor and enlisting his services in creating an outdoor brick fireplace that matched my style and comfort level. We decided to build the fire place near the patio and set it in limestone with marble accents for a masculine yet sophisticated look. Once it was finished I knew that it was the ultimate venue to host my birthday celebrations. So for my 34th birthday it was extra special because I had a barbeque pool party and it was just awesome because everyone complimented on how my patio looked absolutely smashing all thanks to the outdoor brick fireplace I had decided to build.
