I’m about to get married soon since my girlfriend for 6 years have accepted my marriage proposal. I’ve had the same best friend since I was in 2nd grade. Her name is Dianne and we have been inseparable from the day we met. My parents have owned the same Italian restaurant for over 25 years. When they came to America they started the restaurant business in the spirit of old Italy, using indigenous materials, fresh herbs and cooking it the classic Italian way. It is probably one of the most celebrated and visited Italian restaurants in our city mainly because of the authenticity and feel when you enter our restaurant. All of us didn’t realize how special the trip was going to be until the next week when my parents all handed us tickets to the same vacation. They were so touched by our gesture that they decided to make it a family vacation. It truly was everything that one could dream of when you speak of the Bahama Islands; lush tropical trees greeted you and swayed with the windy breeze as came down the plane for the first time. The hospitality was superb and the hotel accommodations just five star. It is the best vacation any of us had ever been in.

When I celebrated my 34th Birthday I knew that I wanted to do something special. I had just bought my dream home and wanted to christen it with a birthday bash initially, but with the advice of my wife she convinced me that the best way to honor our home and my birthday is to come up with an addition to the house in time for the big 3-4.

I had always wanted an outdoor brick fireplace to begin with so I figured it would be a nice birthday present.
